For those who have been longtime advocates of the Atkins Diet but feel they need their carbs, this weight loss diet may be for you. The Carbohydrate Addict's diet was created by a husband and wife team of doctors who understand that complete carbohydrate elimination can be difficult for most. Instead of completely nixing carbs, this diet provides a window each day, known as a 'reward meal', where carbs can be consumed.

Apparently, if you crave sugars and carbs and often still feel hungry after eating, you may be a carbohydrate addict. This weight loss diet was created help fix the metabolic problems many people have with their blood chemistry, which lead to food cravings and fat storage.

During the day, every meal should contain protein and fat, but only one meal should contain carbohydrates. This meal needs to be consumed in sixty minutes. There is no snacking during this diet. This weight loss diet doesn't restrict any foods or calculate portion sizes.
