Are you concerned with the quality of our food? Does it seem as though
there's nothing that you can safely eat? Between the food choices that
nutritionists shun to the items the FDA finds contaminated, it's really no
wonder people are uneasy making safe and healthy food choices. The FDA sent out a
warning this week to alert consumers about a potentially dangerous brand of
olives. Apparently, olives under the brand name Charlie Brown di Rutigliano
& Figli S.r.l, of Bari,
Italy have been
linked with the harmful bacterium, Clostridium botulinum, which
can cause botulism.
The recall of these olives was released on March 27. Although most of the olives
have been removed from store shelves and restaurants, the FDA is warning
consumers to pay attention to the brand of olives they consume or purchase as
they could be contaminated.
This recall is just one of many food products recalled in
the past few weeks. If you’re worried about the quality of your foods or want
